Nothing makes what I do as rewarding as seeing people make positive changes in their life. It is seriously inspirational when you see someone down on themselves – but ready to make a change –commit, stick to a plan, and then kick butt!

Saying that you want something is easy, but putting it into action and staying accountable is hard!  What people don’t realize is that when you push past the hard part, the rewards are so worth the effort!

 

There is so much truth to the quote: “nothing truly great ever came from staying in your comfort zone”.

And don’t think for a minute that having results with your health and fitness don’t translate to other areas of your life, because they do!  You will feel unstoppable in all areas of your life!

 

With that, the winner of the August 6 Week Challenge is Zaira Shaal from our Queen West Location!

Zaira is seriously determined!  Even after her challenge she continued to log her food and as you can see has had even more progress in Week 8!  Love it!

During the 6 weeks she lost 9.4inches, 9 pounds and by the looks of it that has dropped more since.

This is what Zaira had to say about her experience:

What made you join Best Body Bootcamp?

I joined BBBC because I got to the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life this year—a lack of motivation and energy brought on my a bad few months resulted in eating bad food, laziness and sedentary evenings at home. I saw the ad on Facebook and thought, “why not?”.

What do you love most about Best Body Bootcamp?

I did kick boxing boot camps when I lived away and I loved the outdoor group classes and the motivation to just live a healthier life.  It’s exactly what I love about BBBC. We are always encouraged to eat well, move our bodies and be happy with our progress as we push through our workouts.

What was the biggest change you had to make and was it worth it?

The biggest change I made was being active.  While my diet wasn’t great, it was my lack of movement that made me feel worse. Now, I move as much as I can. I dance in my living room just to shake out my muscles on our off days. Not that I was ever a dancer, it’s just fun!

What would you say to someone who is thinking about joining our program?

I would encourage anyone to join this and let them know that you don’t have to eat rice cakes and egg whites three times a day to lose weight.  And losing weight isn’t the same as getting fitter.

BBBC and all its members are there to support you to do both and make sure you’re celebrated along the way. I couldn’t have started this without any of them! With a special shout out to Nassim (her instructor) for making me keep going when I don’t feel motivated during a particular set during our workouts.
